It is used in interior dry wall systems, especially in suspended ceiling, partition wall and curtain wall applications, to create systems that require both water and fire resistance.
Used in the construction of exterior walls with a moisture resistant and a glass fibre mat. Exterior Boards is a high performance board with a gypsum core containing special additives for moisture and mould resistance. Exterior Boards is reinforced board with a glass-mat on both surfaces providing outstanding performance in humid environments.
This non-paper faced board, free from cellulose content and therefore has a strong inherent resistance to mould growth, which is perfect for wet areas and high-humidity environments including exterior applications. Glass-mats have a physical anchorage in with the gypsum core ensuring a strong bond with the gypsum core that creates a monolithic board of high strength, solidity and exceptional integrity. This high performance board can be used for areas requiring high protection against water and it has been designed especially for exterior applications. This board is a perfect solution for exterior ceilings, external walls systems and façade cladding systems.
| BoardeX is an exterior sheathing board used in exterior wall, with its reinforced core against humidity and special orange fiberglass mats. It is used as backerboard beneath all kinds of claddings (including metal claddings, PVC, wood sidings and decorative brick claddings). BoardeX is used for all kind of soffit applications. BoardeX is indispensable for interior wet areas. In areas that stipulates the sheathing of exterior façades with noncombustible materials in accordance with the fire regulation in force, it facilitates the design. BoardeX’s dimensions are %100 match with COREX system sizes and they allow to work on 40 cm and 60 cm axes. In the case that exterior walls to be made with BoardeX exterior façade systems, provide upper values for energy performance class of exterior wall. BoardeX is the first exterior sheathing board of Europe and Turkey that contains gypsum following USA. |
